It’s been a minute since we’ve given updates…it’s taken us time to process what we’ve learned. Charlie’s preliminary pathology reports show he has a Grade 4 brain tumor – the most agressive type. This isn’t the news we were praying for.
We will learn more about next steps once the final results are available and we meet with his teams on April 30th.
Today’s good news – we are going home! Treatment cannot begin until after the final pathology results are available. We are hopeful we can stay home for awhile, soaking in our time as a family of four under one roof. ❤️
We are waiting to hear about the timing of his next procedure: getting a G-tube and likely a central line in preparation for starting chemo.
